At Woolsthorpe Primary School, we run a ‘Money Maths’ program that allows the children to develop money-managing skills very early in life. Through the program, the children not only learn how to identify, count and make different money amounts but they also develop life-long financial skills such as ensuring they are charged the correct amount, given the correct change and they also begin to learn how to ‘budget’ their money so they have enough to pay all of their bills.
